A BIODYNAMIC LIFE & EARTH

A Regenerative Future in Food and Farming

Asia Kostka envisions Mother Earth and Mankind living in a (w)holistic symbiotic journey and dance full of reverance, beauty, awe and delicious, nutritious food growing all around us.

Her priorities have been to educate and demonstrate that consumption of local and un-adulterated food, beginning with soil health to the symbiotic relationship of seed-to-table - has a deeper and lasting effect on individual and collective health than we currently comprehend.

An activist of the biodynamic and agroecological food movement, Asia seeks to connect and facilitate the power of the collective community to build a system of free local, regenerative food production and land use for ALL addressing social and environmental injustices, and food inequality in society. We must bring Nature back to our cities and nourishing sustainable food back on our tables, regardless of income, race or education.

Things we have done so far: a) convince several chefs and institutions to use local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients b) share edible plants and biodynamic methods with over a dozen neighbours and friends - which transformed their gardens, relationship to Nature, and relationship to sustainable and local food c) worked with Magic Breakfast to serve nutrient-dense and local food to children in marginalized communities.

Using Kensal Provisions as the catalyst, Asia's next goal is to make Brent Council London's first biodynamic community in London, and become a biodynamic farmer herself, creating an 'Biodynamic and edible oasis of Biodiversity'

Stay tuned for ways that you can get involved in the near future.
